Oooh, so tempted on that food processor. I had it on my Christmas list, but when it arrived I got scared off by the ginormous box it was in. The maple butter looks delicious!

Oh this looks exquisite. I love the addition of the almonds and maple - never thought about making my own. And you are right, I cannot possibly invest in $10 for butter these days. Always good to give my Cuisiinart a workout.

Serious yum.

What a great idea! I mean, almond butter is great by itself, but adding maple is just genius. I love that nice hint of sweet. Plus, it's all natural sugar--so no guilt (and lots of good omega-3s)!

Food processor is the single most worthwhile kitchen gadget to invest in, according to me. The possibilities are endless once you have it! This butter looks delicious!

I've had this before. Well kind of, mine was store bought. Almond butter is better then peanut butter I think.

I've always bought almond butter the from the store. Never tried making it myself. It jsut so happens that I've recently gotten a little food processor, so now I'll definitely try making almond butter at home.

Lovely!Nut butters are very expensive, so I make them on my own too.I recently got a vitamix which is so grest for nut butters! My old food proessor would make chunky butter, not completely smooth. But it was a really old one!

Lori said...

Looks great! I'm also getting into these alternative nut butters lately. This one sounds delicious!

Mmm love the maple addition! I just bought some maple peanut butter. I was wanting to get the Vitamix but maybe I should look into a strong food processor instead..

If that doesn't sound perfect than I don't know what does!

Ooooh! One of these days, I'm going to upgrade from my mini food processor to a 12-cupper! This looks great and I'm definitely a fan of alternative nut butters since I can't eat PB. The maple is a bonus!
