Love it! Aren't preservers totally one of those things you always thought would be way too hard to make? Yours look like they turned out great! Yummy combo
I would have ran to the store to pick up what I was missing and would have missed out on experimenting and coming up with such a lovely combo of flavors.
Your breadmaker can make jams and preserves, too?!? I need to get one of these . . . !
Great save on the citrus by using pomegranate - it's an unusual combo but I can imagine the flavor is so delicious. Looking forward to the muesli bread recipe!

Hey Pearl... Thanks for coming by. I love any combination of sweet and tangy (as you can guess by strawberry-fish tacos!). This looks delish. Nice to meet a fellow SoCal gal. :)
Hi Pearl, I ran across your blog from a friend's blog you commented on. Your recipes look delicious! I like to cook simple things, but I especially love to bake! Also, coincidentally, I will be moving to San Diego in August. Just thought I'd say hey and nice to meet you! Check out my blog, I've got a few recipes on there as well.
Hey Pearl, thanks for stopping by my blog! I would love to keep in contact, and I'll definitely add you to my blogroll as well :) I can't wait to see more restaurant reviews for San Diego! I imagine I'll be doing some of those myself here in the near future :)
I am the Ethnic Foods Examiner for San Diego. Please feel free to drop by and say hello!
About Me
Pearl
My childhood home had two kitchens: one where my grandmother would stand over risen dough, folding a spoonful of spiced meats and vegetables into the soft flour to make her savory steamed buns; the other where I would sit on the sunlit ceramic tile countertop, giggling with my mother while using both hands to hold the hand mixer steady. With streaks of flour across my face, I marveled over the rising cake in the oven, anticipating its vanilla taste and fluffy, light layers. I feel safe in the kitchen, for it is my sanctum and oasis.
